Tonight the moon appears to be very bright and beautiful
But that light is not hers, it's stolen and it blind us,
blocks our perception of the true light
takes our attention away from those stars
shown smaller before our deluded eyes
that moon falsely promised to be made out of cheese
keeps us away from the stars that radiate
heat and brighter light
esta noche la luna aparenta estar muy brillante y bella,
Pero esa luz no es de ella, es robada y nos cega,
bloquea nuestra percepcion de la luz verdadera
aparta nuestra atencion de las estrellas que
se muestran pequenas ante nuestra mirada enganada
aquella luna que nos falsamente prometen es de queso
nos mantiene lejos de aquel calor que las estrellas irradian
